NTAI02 Analog Input Termination Unit, TC & mV 16 inputs, use with 2 IMASM02, NKTU01, NKAI01.
The Bailey Controls NTAI02 (now manufactured and supported by ABB) is an Analog Input Termination Unit (AITU) used in the INFI 90 and Network 90 distributed control systems. It functions as a hardware interface that receives and conditions up to 16 thermocouple or millivolt signals from field equipment.
Core Functionality
- Signal Conditioning: Converts raw analog signals from sensors into standardized digital data readable by the DCS.
- System Integration: Interfaces with one or two IMASM02 Thermocouple Slave Modules, routing signals to the Analog Master Module (IMAMM03).
- Cold Junction Compensation: Provides a local cold junction reference for accurate thermocouple readings.
- Scalability: Allows the interconnection of up to four NTAI02 units to expand monitoring and calibration capabilities
